Gabriel Segers

Gabriel Segers is the Co-Founder & CEO of SplitC since January 2021. Before that, they worked at Itaú Unibanco as a Techlead from January 2019 to August 2020. In this role, they were responsible for shipping fraud prevention features and highly available software, improving software availability to over 99%, and enhancing the productivity of the fraud operations team. Gabriel also assisted in technical discussions and architecture designs and mentored team members. Prior to Itaú Unibanco, they worked at Santander Brasil as a System Software Engineer from November 2014 to December 2018. In this position, they developed, shipped, and maintained high availability, resilient, and autoscaling software. Gabriel was also involved in designing new business cases, technical architecture designs, and developing security applications.

Gabriel Segers completed a Technical Course in Information Technology at Etec Irmã Agostina in 2012-2013. Gabriel then pursued a Technologist degree in System Analysis at Faculdade de Tecnologia de São Paulo (FATEC-SP) from 2014 to 2016. From 2017 to 2018, they undertook a Postgraduate program in Software Engineering at FIAP. In 2022, Gabriel obtained a degree in Entrepreneurship (LF6) from Latitud.
