Dave McNamee

Dave McNamee has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Dave started their career at Tandem Computers in 1994 as a SysAdmin and then moved on to Netcom as a Sr Manager Server Operations in 1995. In 1998, they joined Cisco Systems Inc as a Sr Manager Software Engineering, where they led a team of 135 members to develop software products for emerging markets. Dave gradually climbed up the ladder at Cisco, serving as Director of Software Engineering for NMTG and NSSTG, managing large teams and driving product development, testing, marketing, and operations. In 2011, they joined WorkforceLogic as a Chief Advisor for Product Development, focusing on Software Defined Networks, and later took on the role of Sr Consultant/Architect at Huawei Technologies. In 2013, they joined Allscripts as VP of Software Development, where they led global agile teams and set the technical and strategic direction for the transition to microservices. In 2022, they joined EverCommerce as Senior Vice President of Technology, overseeing the development and operations of five healthcare solutions. Most recently, in 2023, they became the Vice President of Software Engineering at Spok. Through their various roles, Dave has consistently demonstrated strategic leadership, technical expertise, and a focus on process improvement, quality, and innovation.

Dave McNamee earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aerospace Engineering from San Jose State University in 1994. In addition, they obtained certifications in Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) in 2023 from (ISC)² institution.
