Michael Swanson

Michael Swanson has extensive experience in sales, specifically in the healthcare industry. Michael currently holds the position of Director, Enterprise Sales at Spok since 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Hologic, Inc. as a Clinical Sales Manager from 2018 to 2019, where they managed a team and implemented various sales strategies. From 2017 to 2018, they served as the Regional Sales Director, GI Sales at PENTAX Medical, responsible for sales and top-line growth of the North Central Region. Michael also held the role of Regional Director, Informatics at PENTAX Medical from 2015 to 2017, where they doubled the annual revenue and worked with a team of twenty territory managers. Before joining PENTAX Medical, Swanson worked at Cerner Corporation as a Sr. Sales Executive from 2010 to 2015, leading a sales team and collaborating with IDN executives and caregivers. Michael started their career as a Business Analyst of Sales at Cerner Corporation in 2007 and worked as a Laboratory Technician II at Integrated DNA Technologies from 2004 to 2006.

From 2002 to 2006, Michael Swanson attended the University of Iowa, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Musculoskeletal Biomechanics.
