Goran Deak is the Founder and CEO of Spona, a global B2B platform for digital service sellers. With over 10 years of experience in the digital and IT industry, Goran has been recognized as a finalist for Founder of the Year in 2019 and 2020 by the Global Startups Award. Goran is also the winner of the Spark.me startup competition in 2018 and has been featured at prestigious events such as TechCrunch Disrupt SF and Web Summit Lisbon. Goran has a background in IT, having worked in various roles such as Head of IT Department and System Technician before starting their own digital agency, ForgeBIT. Goran currently serves as a Startup Mentor at BAIF and was part of the leadership group for the industrial transition of Northern Croatia at the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds.
