Tuomas Asunmaa

Tuomas Asunmaa has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Tuomas is the founder and CEO of Spondeo, a family business that specializes in business between Scandinavia and Poland/CEE. Tuomas leads a team of 11 employees, located in Poznan and Lviv. Tuomas has expertise in various areas such as go-to-market projects, growth hacking, sales team services, remote recruitment, and executive search.

Tuomas is also an active member of several organizations. Tuomas serves as a board member of the Scandinavian-Polish Chamber of Commerce and as the Chairman of the Board of Finnish Trade Guild.

In addition to their entrepreneurial ventures, Tuomas has worked in various roles with different organizations. Tuomas worked as an internal consultant at Ferratum Group, where they contributed to building a SPV structure and led projects related to finance, accounting, and operational tools. Tuomas also worked as a business development contractor at Pactum Collections GmbH and as a part-time CFO at HUB logistics Sp. z o.o. Furthermore, Tuomas has served as a temporary site manager at Nordcloud, an IBM Company.

Early in their career, Tuomas co-founded and served as a board member of Craftman Polska, where they led a major recruitment project involving over 400 Polish professionals for a construction site in Uruguay. Tuomas was also a shareholder at Craftman Oy, the parent company of Craftman Polska.

Tuomas started their career as a Controller and member of the management team at Valkea Media, where they supervised the finance team, managed daily executive newsletters, and played a role in the company's management.

Tuomas Asunmaa received their M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Oulu from 1999 to 2007. Additionally, in 2002, they were an exchange student at Willamette University.
