Child poverty has long-lasting effects. By GCSE, there is a 28 per cent gap between children that receive free school meals and their wealthier peers in terms of the number achieving at least five GCSE grades in the range 9—4.

What can YOU do to help?
By sponsoring a student from as little as £10 a month; you can make a real difference. Your money will help towards warm clothing, educational supplies and even feminine care products.

When you receive updates in the form of letters from your student, you will understand the impact that your money has had on their life.

Sponsorstars will, for the first time, sponsor young people in the UK who are disadvantaged and whose families often need to use foodbanks for emergency food supplies. This will have a positive effect on the children’s life chances and educational attainment.
