Jason Simpson

Jason Simpson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jason is currently a Senior Consultant at Integral, a position they have held since August 2021. Prior to this, they were the Co-Founder, CEO, and CTO of Spore Systems, a role they held from September 2018.

Jason has also worked as a Lecturer in Information Systems at The University of Queensland, where they designed and led undergraduate courses. Jason was a Co-Founder and Lead Developer at Luminate QR from 2016 to 2018.

Additionally, Jason has served as a Research Fellow at The Australian National University and worked as a Lecturer and Tutor in Information Systems at UNSW Business School, where they consistently received positive evaluations for their teaching.

Before transitioning into the technology and academic fields, Jason gained valuable experience at Deloitte as a Senior Consultant, where they led projects, conducted gap analyses, and provided strategic roadmaps to clients. Jason also mentored junior consultants and business analysts.

Jason's career began in the United States Department of Defense as a Programmer and Systems Engineer, where they developed a Medical and Casualty Estimator and transformed paper-based processes into an automated online system. Jason also served as a Signal Officer in the US Army.

Overall, Jason brings a wide range of skills and expertise to their current role as a Senior Consultant, combining their technical knowledge with strategic thinking and teaching experience.

Jason Simpson earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management Information Systems, with a concentration in Information Systems, from Auburn University in 2004. Jason then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Information Systems Concentration from Auburn University, which they completed between 2008 and 2010. Jason furthered their education by completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Information Systems at UNSW from 2012 to 2019.

To supplement their education, Jason obtained additional certifications, including the Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft, which they achieved in December 2021. Jason also completed various Nanodegrees, including Full Stack, Front End, and Design Sprint, from Udacity in 2017.
