Richard Thomas

Richard Thomas is the National Manager for Wales at Sported, the UK’s largest Sport for Development charity, where they support community and grassroots clubs improving the lives of disadvantaged young people through sport. They previously served as Chief Executive Officer at Pillgwenlly Millennium Trust Ltd, where they fostered community engagement through cultural and physical activities. Richard also held the position of National Development Manager at YMCA Wales, overseeing 22 local associations for young people. With a background in sports and community organizations, Richard excels in managing organizational change and building stakeholder relationships. They earned a degree from Swansea University between 2007 and 2010.
