Jay Rowell

Jay Rowell is an experienced data analyst and talent identification specialist with a strong background in the sports industry. Currently serving as a First Line Support Analyst at Sporting Group since June 2022, Jay also works as a Freelance Football Scout focusing on talent identification and analysis. At Darlington Football Club, Jay holds the position of Data Analyst, and has previously contributed as a Data Scientist and Recruitment Analyst for Aland United and as a Data Analyst for Deportivo Alavés Gloriosas. Jay's past roles include Co-Director of Data Science and Analytics at Houston Dash, Data Analyst at Oakland Roots Sports Club, and Opposition and Match Analyst at Valour FC. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Data Science through The Open University, Jay's academic foundation is complemented by previous education at Filton College and Sir Thomas Boteler High School.
