Peter Get

Peter Get has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Peter currently holds the position of Senior Hardware & Systems Engineer at Sportlight Technology since February 2020. Prior to that, Peter worked at the University of Oxford as a Robotics & Systems Engineer from January 2014 to October 2019, where they supported the hardware and systems aspects of autonomous vehicles and small robot platforms. Before Oxford, from October 2011 to October 2013, Peter worked at HR Wallingford as a Design and Development Engineer, responsible for designing and developing new products and supporting physical modeling activities. Peter initially started at HR Wallingford as an Instrument Engineer from February 2008 to October 2011. Peter also has extensive experience at HTEC, where they worked as a Design Engineer from November 2005 to April 2007 and as a Test Engineer from September 1986 to November 2005.

Peter Get attended Southampton Solent University (formerly Southampton Institute) from 1999 to 2000. During their time there, they pursued a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and obtained an HNC. In their earlier education, Peter attended Crofton Secondary in Stubbington from 1976 to 1981, but no specific degree or field of study was mentioned for this period.
