Jorge Pessoa is an experienced technology leader currently serving as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Spot since March 2024. Previously, Jorge held the position of Head of Engineering at Ntropy from February 2022 to April 2024, where responsibilities included developing software for financial analysis using distributed Machine Learning systems and large-scale Data Processing. Before Ntropy, Jorge was the Head of Engineering at Jungle.ai from January 2019 to February 2022, leading software and data engineering initiatives. Jorge began the career as an AI Junior Researcher at INESC-ID and has a strong educational background, holding a Master's degree in Information Systems and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from Delft University of Technology.
