Pavithra Gurusamy

Pavithra Gurusamy has a diverse work experience in the field of event management and marketing. Pavithra started their career as a Head of Finance at Fundamental 2018, where they effectively managed the budget and volunteer management for the annual design festival. Pavithra then worked as a Super Crew member at Vh1 Supersonic, where they developed the Risk Management Plan and managed the operations budget for the music and arts festival.

Pavithra also gained experience as an Event Planner at The Zoo XYZ, where they created comprehensive plans for football-themed events and devised online and offline marketing strategies. Pavithra further enhanced their event coordination skills as an Event Coordinator and Host at Seedtree Collaborative, where they planned online events for AEC professionals and conducted feasibility studies for new events.

In addition to event coordination, Pavithra has also worked as an Event Planning and Marketing Intern at HUMAN GROWTH FOUNDATION, where they developed and implemented educational webinar series. Pavithra also held the role of Operations & Logistics Head at Legacy., where they organized logistical aspects of sustainable events and coordinated a Risk Management Plan.

Pavithra has demonstrated their strong organizational and planning abilities as an Event Coordinator at Plan3Media, where they planned and executed tasks for conferences, webinars, and masterclasses. Pavithra also worked as a Social Media Content Creator at Colossyan.

Currently, Pavithra is working as an Events Marketing Manager at SpotDraft, where they are responsible for driving growth across the funnel through event marketing. Pavithra collaborates with outbound and marketing teams to determine the event strategy and manages its promotion and distribution across various channels.

Throughout their career, Pavithra has consistently showcased their strong event management skills, attention to detail, and ability to create effective marketing strategies.

Pavithra Gurusamy pursued their education in a variety of fields. Pavithra started their educational journey in 2015 at the Symbiosis Institute Of Design, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Product Design in 2019. Following that, in 2019, Pavithra enrolled at the University of Westminster and pursued a Master's degree in Event Design and Management, specializing in Meeting and Event Planning. Pavithra completed this program in 2020. During the same year, they also attended a short course on Psychology at the University of Oxford.

In addition to their formal education, Pavithra has obtained certifications in several areas. In April 2020, they received certification in Social Media Marketing from the Affluent Academy. Furthermore, in July 2023, they completed the POSH | All Internal Complaints Committee Training from Serein.
