Lynette Midy has worked in various engineering and technology roles since 2004. Lynette began their career at Allstate as a Solution Architect, then moved up to Lead Solutions Architect, Manager of Strategic Initiatives, and Senior Manager of Consumer Technology Platforms. In 2017, they moved to Walgreens as a Solution Architect for TekSystems and then to GE Renewable Energy as Director of Software Engineering for the Field Service Management Suite and Senior Manager of Software Engineering for Renewable Digital Services. In 2019, they joined SpotHero as Senior Director of Engineering and then Director of Engineering, where they are responsible for the overall execution of the operator engineering teams.
Lynette Midy has a diverse educational background. Lynette obtained their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez in 2003. Lynette went on to pursue a Master of Science in Business Information Technology from DePaul University in 2007. More recently, they obtained a Cloud Native Application Architecture degree from Udacity in 2022. Additionally, Lynette has obtained several certifications, including a Psychological Safety: Clear Blocks to Innovation, Collaboration, and Risk-Taking certification from LinkedIn in 2021, a Software Architecture: Domain-Driven Design certification from LinkedIn in 2021, a Cloud Developer certification from Udacity in 2020, a Java Developer Nanodegree from Udacity in 2020, a React certification from Udacity in 2019, a Full Stack Developer certification from Udacity in 2019, a Udacity Data Science Foundations certification from Udacity in 2018, a Bertelsmann Data Science Challenge Scholarship from Udacity in 2018, a Certified SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2018, and a Certified Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance in 2017.
