Mick Johnson

Mick Johnson began their career in 2015 as a Crew Member at Trader Joe's. In 2016, they took on two roles: Technical Recruiter at Espo Engineering Corp. and English Language Teacher at HESS International Educational Organization. In 2017, they joined Mintel as a Software Engineer where they spearheaded a team focused on the company's newest product. In 2019, Mick joined Home Chef as a Technical Lead Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, where they founded and headed up a team devoted to their React Native mobile app. Finally, Mick currently serves as a Senior Software Engineer II at SpotHero, where they are a technical lead for their Activation team and has orchestrated an overhaul of their error reporting software.

Mick Johnson attended the University of South Carolina from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Film & Media Studies. In 2013, they also attended the University of Warwick for Creative Writing. In 2016 and 2017, they attended Coding Dojo and received a Certification in Python/Django, MEAN, and HTML/CSS. In 2015, they obtained a TEFL certification from the International TEFL Academy.
