Umar Ahmed has been working in the Android development field since 2017. Umar began their career as an Android Developer at Workforce Group, where they worked until 2019. Umar then moved to Andela, where they worked as an Android Developer until 2020. After that, Umar Ahmed worked as a Senior Android Engineer at Capricorn Digital Limited until 2021. Currently, they are employed as a Senior Android Engineer at SpotHero.

Umar Ahmed began their educational journey in 2012 when they attended the University of Ilorin and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Economics in 2016. Umar then attended freeCodeCamp in 2016 and 2017 and earned a Full Stack Web Development Certification in Computer Software Engineering.
