David Metz

David Metz is a skilled videographer currently producing video content for the Office of Gift Development and Alumni Relations at Indiana University School of Medicine since August 2021. In addition to this role, Metz works as a videographer for SpotHopper starting in April 2022. Previous experience includes positions as Director of Wine & Beverage at Thompson Hotel and Wine Director/Sommelier at The Jefferson in Washington, DC, where responsibility included managing a $1.5 million annual wine program. Metz also served as a sommelier at The Four Seasons Hotel, contributing to a highly profitable $2.7 million wine program. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Film/Video and Photographic Arts from Indiana University Indianapolis and the Advanced Sommelier certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers, along with a Bachelor's degree in Music Teacher Education from Indiana University Bloomington.
