Adam "AJ" Schecter is a global recruitment leader with over 15 years of experience in both in-house and agency roles, currently serving as the Global Talent Acquisition Manager for the Freemium Business Unit at Spotify since 2021. AJ has previously held significant recruitment positions at SoundCloud, where they were the first U.S.-based recruiter, and Say Media, where they managed full-cycle recruiting across multiple business units. AJ began their career at Albany Broadcasting Company and has cultivated expertise in talent acquisition across various sectors, including sales, marketing, and creative industries. They earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Business from the State University of New York at Albany.
