Aja Badame

Aja Badame is an experienced professional in podcast monetization and marketing, currently serving as Manager of Podcast Monetization & Partnerships at Spotify since August 2019. Prior to this role, Aja held the position of Senior Marketing Manager for Podcast Ad Sales at Gimlet Media, where collaboration with Gimlet Creative was essential for developing innovative audio programs. Aja’s background also includes roles as PR + Marketing Manager at iris Worldwide and PR + Marketing Associate at Barbarian, where strategic communications supported major clients. Earlier experience as a Music Publicist included leading international campaigns for artists, festivals, and tours, and Aja began a career in marketing and events at the Tribeca Grand Hotel and Wilhelmina Models. Aja holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs from The New School and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from SUNY Buffalo.
