Bethany Strout

Bethany Strout is a seasoned publishing professional with extensive experience in editorial roles and book acquisition. At Findaway from February 2021 to June 2022, Bethany served as Acquisitions Editor, contributing to the launch of the audiobook publishing house OrangeSky Audio and successfully acquiring approximately 175 titles. Prior experience includes positions as Associate Editor and Assistant Editor at Little, Brown Books for Young Readers, where approximately 10-20 children's books were acquired and launched annually. A significant role as Manager of Licensing at Spotify commenced in June 2022, following a tenure as Associate Frontlist Buyer and Director of Buying at Tattered Cover Book Store. Bethany’s career began with roles at University of Chicago Press and Writers House. Bethany holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Art History from The University of Chicago.
