Deepak Bhat

Deepak Bhat is a Senior Data Engineer with extensive experience in data engineering and machine learning. Currently at Spotify since February 2020, Deepak leads the data and ML team to automate content marketing and has conceptualized and implemented large-scale batch data pipelines for personalized playlists. Previously, at Chainalysis Inc., Deepak served as Tech Lead for the data platform, developing state-of-the-art data pipelines for the Reactor investigation product. Prior roles include Senior Data Engineer at Capital One, where Deepak contributed to data pipeline migrations to AWS, and Amazon as a Software Development Engineer, optimizing the Product Compatibility Platform and leading international expansions. Deepak began a career in data mining at Red Hat Inc. as an intern. Deepak holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Siddaganga Institute of Technology.
