Felix Vaughan

Felix Vaughan is currently the ML Research Manager at Spotify, where they research and build diverse, emotional, hyper-realistic AI-powered voices using advanced technologies in natural speech synthesis. Previously, Felix served as both a Deep Learning Researcher and Lead Researcher at Sonantic from 2019 to 2021. They co-founded Semblr Technologies and held the position of Co-Founder & CTO from 2018 to 2020. Prior to these roles, Felix was a member of the LD11 Cohort at Entrepreneur First from 2018 to 2019. Felix earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics with Theoretical Physics, graduating with First-class Honours from the University of Nottingham, followed by a PhD in Complexity Science from the University of Bristol, where they received Faculty of Science Commendation for being in the top 15% of their class.
