Iltaek Hong is currently the Spotify Music Editorial Lead and Lead Editor for Korea and K-Pop, having served as a Senior Music Editor from 2020 to 2023. Prior to their role at Spotify, they worked at Google as a Music Content Specialist from 2016 to 2020, where they were a launching member of YouTube Music Korea. They began their career as a lyricist at YG Entertainment in 2014. Iltaek holds a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing and Digital Media Culture from 고려대학교 and a Master's degree in Global Entertainment and Music Business from Berklee College of Music.
