Javier Buquet

Javier Buquet is a Senior Data Engineer at Spotify since September 2020, bringing extensive experience in data engineering and technical leadership. Prior roles include serving as the technical lead of the Data Science Engineering team at dataxu and leading the Data Science Engineering team in Roku, following dataxu's acquisition by Roku. Additional experience includes a position as a Web Developer at moove-it, where responsibilities encompassed product ownership and development in scrum teams, and IT Manager at Loyalty Marketing Group Uruguay, overseeing customer fidelity solutions. Javier holds a Software Engineer degree from Universidad ORT Uruguay and has completed the International Baccalaureate at The British Schools of Montevideo.
