John Falkenberg is an accomplished executive in the fields of mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, and investment banking. Currently serving as Head of M&A at Spotify since October 2018, John leads acquisitions and investments that have facilitated the expansion into new media and technology verticals. Prior to this role, John was the Director of Corporate Business Development and Strategy at Warner Bros. Entertainment, where strategic initiatives focused on enhancing digital and gaming capabilities. Previous experience includes an Associate position in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs, specializing in technology, media, and telecom, as well as an Analyst role at CBRE Investment Management focusing on global mergers and acquisitions. John holds an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Vanderbilt University.
