John Walk

John Walk is an experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Spotify since January 2022, previously serving as Tech Lead and Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Pluralsight from June 2019 to December 2021. In this role, John supported search, content discovery, and personalization efforts, and also led the Discovery team's data streaming initiatives. Prior to Pluralsight, John was a Data Science Manager at Wayfair, leading a team focused on data-driven solutions for product management. John's career began with significant roles at Cinch Financial as a Senior Data Scientist and at Insight Data Science as a Fellow and Technical Advisor. John completed a Doctor of Science degree in Nuclear Science and Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where research included a substantial focus on fusion energy at the Alcator C-Mod tokamak.
