Jon Jengo is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in software development and data processing. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Spotify since June 2017, Jon oversees the Data Platform and previously led the Messaging Platform, significantly expanding its capabilities to engage over 500 million users. Prior to Spotify, Jon held positions at Mark43 as a Senior Software Engineer II, managing cross-functional teams to create evidence management systems, and at Outbrain as a Backend Team Lead, where Jon was instrumental in redesigning the Visual Revenue platform for enhanced reliability. Jon began a career in software engineering at Simphotek and FalconStor Software, focusing on innovative solutions for photonic simulations and data management tools. Jon holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
