Lara Baker

Lara Baker is an accomplished music industry professional with extensive experience spanning various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Lead for Songwriter & Publisher Partnerships at Spotify since April 2025, Lara previously held the position of General Manager for the UK & IE at FUGA and Director of Business Development at Downtown Music. As a co-founder of the Music Week Women in Music Awards, Lara works to celebrate the achievements of women in the industry. Past consultancy work includes engagements with notable organizations such as BBC Music Introducing Live and the Association of Independent Music (AIM), where Lara contributed to strategic marketing and event management. Lara Baker earned a BA Hons in Music Industry Management from Buckinghamshire New University.
