Matthew Frank

Matthew Frank is a seasoned tax lawyer and litigator specializing in tax controversy. They currently serve as Senior Director of Tax at Spotify, managing global tax controversy matters. Previously, they held significant roles including Senior Tax Counsel for General Electric, where they led transfer pricing exams and controversies worldwide, and Director of the U.S. Advance Pricing Agreement program at the IRS. They earned a JD, magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School and have taught international tax at both the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Michigan. Matthew has been awarded the John Marshall Award for Outstanding Legal Achievement and is the organizer and host of a tax video podcast.
