Maya Brandel

Maya Brandel is the Head of Tech Learning at Spotify, responsible for leading the strategy, development, and implementation of technical learning programs since January 2019. Previous experience includes roles as Senior Education Program Manager and Education Program Manager in freelancing, where strong time-management and problem-solving skills were essential. Maya worked at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology as an Instructional Designer, contributing to MOOC development and blended learning courses. In addition, experience as an Instructional and Curriculum Designer at 3D Avatar School focused on educational game-based learning. Maya also held positions related to instructional design and teaching, beginning with an internship at ClarityEnglish and a teaching role at Pre-school Mother Goose. Educational qualifications include a BA in French Studies from the University of Hull, an MA in World Englishes from Stockholm University, and post-graduate research at City University of Hong Kong.
