Patrick Pierson

Patrick Pierson is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in mobile application development, particularly for iOS platforms. Currently serving as a Senior iOS Software Engineer at Spotify since February 2019, Patrick has played a leadership role in integrating major mobile features across the Spotify and Anchor ecosystems, including the implementation of the Podcast Charts feature. Prior to this, Patrick was the Lead Mobile Engineer at Anchor, where key contributions included designing a flexible iOS app architecture to enhance feature implementation. Earlier experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Lua, focusing on enterprise communication solutions, and as the Lead Mobile Developer at Local Wisdom, Inc., where mobile applications for both iOS and Android were developed. Patrick began the career with an internship in mobile development, following a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from The College of New Jersey.
