Rachel Simpson

Rachel Simpson is an accomplished podcast professional with extensive experience in the audio and media industry. Currently serving as Podcast Partner Manager at Spotify since June 2020, Rachel transitioned from an initial role as Creative Lead, managing all aspects of podcast production. Prior to Spotify, Rachel was Assistant Commissioner for BBC Sounds Podcasts, where responsibilities included developing and launching podcasts for the BBC’s on-demand audio app. Rachel's career began at the BBC, progressing from a Producer in various roles to a Digital Content Editor at BBC Media Action. Additional experience includes freelance reporting and producing for BBC Radio 4 and a Deputy Editor position at MyMovies.Net. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford.
