Shaun Bent is an experienced engineering leader specializing in design systems and accessibility, with a background that includes roles at the BBC and Spotify. At the BBC, Shaun served as a Front End Developer and later as a Senior Front End Developer, where they led initiatives such as the performance-focused redevelopment of the BBC LIVE platform and the establishment of a scalable Front End architecture across various digital offerings. Currently, Shaun is an Engineering Manager at Spotify. They began their career as a Junior Web Developer and progressed to Lead Front End Developer at Forepoint Limited, where they shaped digital operations and successfully secured new business pitches. Shaun holds a BTEC National Diploma in Information Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computing from the University of Central Lancashire.
