James Jackson has a long and varied career in business. James began their career in 1995 as a Registered Stock Broker at Olde Financial. In 1998, they became the CEO of Winsanity, where they delivered business acceleration and organizational development strategy to diverse range of clients. In 2005, they moved to Cisco Systems, Inc. as a Channel Manager, where they defined the territory's strategy for channel engagement in order to achieve a $650M quota. In 2011, they became President of Orion Lighting, where they directed all inside sales, field sales, sales operations, sales engineering, customer service, and global channel field sales teams. In 2016, they became the CEO of Element2, where they fulfilled contract C-level positions for companies lacking the speed they desired. In 2019, they became the Chief Strategy Officer of MORTARR. In 2020, they became the Founder and CEO of Spotz, which helps solve the problem of WHERE. In 2022, they are serving as an Advisory Council Member for the Digital Marketing for Executives, Professional Development Program at California State University, Chico.

James Jackson attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater from 1990 to 1995, graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance.
