Spout is a multi-channel communication platform built specifically for municipal water utilities. We help utilities reach their customers faster, more reliably, and with less manual effort, across SMS, email, voice calls, and direct mail.

Water utilities face a unique communication challenge. When there's a boil water order, a large residential or commercial leak, a service disruption, or a watering restriction in effect, customers need to know immediately. Without a fast, automated way to get the word out, call centers get flooded with inbound calls, staff spend hours on manual outreach, and customers are left in the dark.

Traditional outreach methods -- postcards, door hangers, and calling lists -- are slow, expensive, and hard to track. Utilities need a faster, more cost-effective way to communicate at scale.

Spout brings all of that together in one platform, making it easy to send the right message to the right customers at the right time. We integrate directly with the systems utilities already use, so there's no heavy lift to get started.

Founded in 2025 and headquartered in Utah, Spout was built by a team combining deep expertise in water conservation, utility operations, and software development.

If you work at a water utility and want to simplify how you communicate with customers, we'd love to connect.
