Ryan Creamer

CEO at sPower

Since founding sPower in 2012, Mr. Creamer has grown the company into a leading renewable energy provider with more than $3.0 billion in balance sheet assets and more than 15 gigawatts of projects between operating, construction and pipeline. Mr. Creamer has built sPower on a culture of strategy and smart thinking; his ingenuity was acknowledged in 2017 when Mr. Creamer was recognized as an EY Utah Entrepreneur of the Year finalist.

Mr. Creamer has spent his career in the energy sector, leading and creating energy infrastructure companies. Most recently Mr. Creamer served as Executive Vice President at EnergySolutions, Inc., a global nuclear services company (NYSE:ES) where he was directly responsible for more than two-thirds of the company’s operating income. Mr. Creamer co-founded EnergySolutions with other senior management and a consortium of private equity firms in 2005.

In 2000, Mr. Creamer was the creator, developer and patent holder of a light-weight structural and insulative concrete known as Flexcrete for ISG Resources. He served as a project engineer, project manager, director and then Vice President of Flexcrete Building Systems, when the technology was commercialized and later sold to Headwaters, Inc. in their acquisition of ISG Resources. Prior to this, Mr. Creamer worked as a project manager and project engineer on various infrastructure projects in the environmental and industrial industries. In 2016, Mr. Creamer was named to Utah’s 40 under forty.

Mr. Creamer is currently the Vice-Chairman of the Solar Electric Industry Association (SEIA) Executive Committee and is a partner with Western Pacific Group (a regional private equity fund which makes long-term investments in a wide cross section of companies).

Mr. Creamer holds a BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Utah.
