Open has worked as a 2nd Shift Quality Technician at Spray-Tek since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Technical Business Manager at Symrise AG from November 2006 to August 2021, where they were responsible for managing and supporting the North American Flavor division by analyzing and transforming the data, systems and ways of working with a focus on process optimization, effectiveness and profitability improvement, supporting the product development staff. In March 2021, they also took on the responsibility of the North American Flavor Division sample lab that was responsible for liquid compounding, Reaction Flavors and spray dried flavors. In this role, they helped improve workflow and hired admin support to assist with receiving and processing between 800-1000 sample order line items a month to improve on our ability to meet and exceed internal and external customer expectations.

Open has completed three courses on Udemy in business and computer applications. They have a certification in Access 2010 Introduction, Fundamentals of Business Analysis, and Intoduction to Business Process Modeling.

Their manager is Joel Strang, Quality Manager (WI). Open works with Jeffrey Pruitt - Porter, JoAnn Guetschow - Quality Technician, and Victoria Johnson - Porter.
