Laurent Drion is the founder and partner of E-Merge sa-nv, an angel fund based in Brussels that has been active since 1998, making over 40 direct early-stage investments, primarily as a lead investor in the EU and the US. Laurent is also an investor with AngelList, where over $160 million has been raised by startups, as well as with several prominent companies including SpaceX, Spreedly, The Boring Company, Spire Global, Ordoro, HappyCo, LeoLabs, and Onfleet. Laurent holds a degree in Commercial Engineering from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, obtained between 1988 and 1993.
