Peter O.

Peter O. has a diverse work experience in software engineering and renewable energy advocacy. Peter started their career in 2007 as a Systems Engineer at Population Services International, where they provided IT services and developed custom algorithms. In 2008, they worked as an Internet Marketing Specialist (Contract) at the American Council On Renewable Energy, managing web and email marketing campaigns. In 2010, Peter joined NGP VAN as a Software Developer, coding in PHP and Visual Basic. Peter then interned at the Rocky Mountain Institute in 2012, researching plug loads and appliance efficiency. Peter pursued a Master of Environmental Management at Duke University from 2011 to 2013 and completed their Master's Project on opening Duke University's energy data. Peter worked as a Software Developer at Spreedly from 2016 to 2021 and currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineer since 2022.

Peter O. completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Rochester, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Later, from 2011 to 2013, they pursued a Master of Environmental Management degree in Energy and the Environment at Duke University.
