Millard Brown

Chief Medical Officer at Spring Health

Millard Brown has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of medical affairs and behavioral health.

From 2020 onwards, Millard served as the Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs at Spring Health.

Prior to this, Millard held various leadership roles in Tripler Army Medical Center from 1994 to 2020. These roles included Chief of the Department of Behavioral Health, Deputy Chief of the department, and the Psychiatry Residency Training Director. Millard led a team that provided comprehensive care to military beneficiaries, managed a large budget, and oversaw various programs and training initiatives.

Before joining Tripler Army Medical Center, Millard worked with the US Army Medicine as the Deputy Chief of Behavioral Health Division, Office of the Army Surgeon General. In this role, Millard supported the Chief of Behavioral Health Division in managing the Army's behavioral health service line and tracking system metrics.

Millard also functioned as the Army Behavioral Health IT Capability Manager in the US Army, where the responsibilities included coordinating behavioral health information technology development and integration efforts with existing military healthcare technologies.

Additionally, Millard worked in the US Army Medical Command as the Lead Clinician of the Behavioral Health Data Portal Program, where Millard successfully developed a web-based portal for collecting standardized behavioral health data and clinical outcomes tracking.

Millard began their career at Tripler Army Medical Center as a Psychiatry Residency Trainee and later served as the Assistant Training Director of the Psychiatry Residency program.

Overall, Millard Brown has a strong background in medical affairs and behavioral health, with extensive experience in leadership, program development, and training.

Millard Brown completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Cornell University from 1991 to 1995. From 1995 to 1999, they attended Temple University - Lewis Katz School of Medicine, where they obtained a Medical Doctorate (MD) degree. Later, from 2011 to 2013, Millard pursued a Masters of Biomedical Informatics degree with a focus in clinical informatics at Oregon Health and Science University.
