Elijah has always been surrounded by the wondrous world of education, growing up in a household of teachers. For his undergraduate studies, he attended Morehouse College, where he earned a BA in Political Science with a minor in Education Studies. Following his graduation, he embarked on a career in education, initially working as an educator in schools based in Washington, DC. He then transitioned to an instructional technology specialist role before eventually moving into project management. Elijah also holds a Master of Science in Education and a certificate in Technology Integration from Johns Hopkins University School of Education.

One of Elijah's fondest childhood memories revolves around his favorite book, "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" by Bill Martin, Jr. This timeless classic held a special place in his heart as it was the first book he ever read independently.

Fun fact

I love sweets! Italian ice, custard, donuts, and the list goes on! I am also a proud volunteer with the National Park Service! You can catch me cleaning the shoreline of Fort Washington Park.
