Nick Masada (He/Him)

Deputy Director of Future Forward at Springboard Collaborative

Nick’s career spans a diverse set of organizations, each reflecting his dedication to ensuring equitable access to high-quality education.

Following the completion of a Fulbright teaching grant in Turkey, he co-taught in DC Public Schools (4th grade), held a leadership position at a Rwandan literacy program, and worked at an education research and technology non-profit. One of the most rewarding chapters of his career took place in Amman, Jordan where he collaborated with refugees to develop and scale their ideas to improve education in their communities.

Nick is a graduate of Hastings College and the Harvard Graduate School of Education where he focused on political change and evaluation of interventions in historically underserved schools. A proud Nebraskan, he now resides in Denver, Colorado where he enjoys exploring new running trails, coaching youth soccer, and any activity that allows him to enjoy the sunshine (preferably with a coffee in hand). Two of his favorite childhood book series were Horrible Harry and Hank Zipzer.

A fun fact about Nick is that he co-authored a book on the history of the Turkish state.
