Tariq Sabir (He/Him)

As a child, Tariq had the opportunity to live and go to school in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, an experience he has never forgotten. Since then, Tariq has developed a passion for supporting youth and previously worked with at-risk youth who have been exposed to the juvenile justice system. He has personally seen that when an organization truly cares and supports youth, it can have a tremendous impact. Tariq’s favorite childhood series is the Berenstain Bears series, which were the first books he ever bought at school book fairs. He loved them because they were easy to read and relatable and they always taught a valuable lesson.
