Aurel Cami

Aurel Cami is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in various roles across the technology and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Dell Technologies since November 2020, Aurel also mentors data science students globally through Springboard. A prior role at MathWorks as a Senior Technical Writer focused on developing content for machine learning algorithms in MATLAB. Aurel's experience includes significant contributions to customer success at Autodesk as a Data Scientist and predictive modeling at CVS Health. Aurel's research background includes positions as a Research Scientist at Boston Children's Hospital and Harvard University, leading projects on predictive modeling for health outcomes, and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Pittsburgh. Aurel holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida, a BS in Computer Engineering from Middle East Technical University, and a BS in Mathematics from the University of Tirana.
