Austin Poon

Austin Poon is a Cyber Security Trainee at Springboard since May 2023, where expertise in network security tools, penetration testing, and malware analysis has been developed through over 380 hours of hands-on training and a capstone project. Concurrently, Austin serves as a Biospecimen Associate I at Guardant Health, contributing to laboratory improvements and training new hires while ensuring compliance with patient information regulations. Prior experience as a Dental Assistant and Administrative Assistant at Kohoutek Dental further strengthened leadership and organizational skills, particularly in onboarding and patient management. Austin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Microbiology from Regis University, obtained in May 2019.
