Brooke Lyon

Brooke Lyon has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Brooke began their career as a Coach at Spirals Gymnastics from August 2011 to March 2013. Following that, they served as the Development Director at The M.U.S.I.C. Club from January 2013 to November 2013. From June 2012 to June 2014, they worked as a Peer Advisor at UCSB College of Letters & Science. In 2014, they gained experience as a Writing Intern at Santa Barbara Fitness Magazine and as a Digital Media Producer at RMA Group, Inc. In the same year, they joined Maximo Nivel, where they held multiple roles such as ESL Teacher, Field Manager, and Director of International Programs. Brooke then moved on to New Summit Academy Costa Rica, where they worked as an Integrated English Teacher and Academic Advisor from April 2016 to April 2020, and as an Orientation & Transition Coordinator from August 2018 to April 2020. Currently, they are working at Springboard, where they have held various positions in the University Partnerships division, including Student Success Associate, Student Success Manager, and Senior Student Success Manager. Brooke currently serves as the Student Success Lead for University Partnerships.

Brooke Lyon earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English from UC Santa Barbara in 2014. In 2012, they attended the University of Cambridge. Brooke later obtained a TEFL/TESOL Certification from Máximo Nivel Intercultural Center in 2014. In 2019, Brooke completed their Master of Arts (MA) in Education Counseling from San Diego State University. Additionally, they obtained a Trauma Informed Care and Mental Health Recovery Certificate from San Diego State University.
