Ian Lagat

Ian Lagat is an experienced UX/UI professional with a strong background in mentoring and design. Currently serving as a Mentor in UX/UI Design at Springboard since June 2022, Ian has successfully guided over 30 students towards achieving their career goals. As a Senior UI/UX Designer at Simpaul Design since April 2021, Ian leads design projects and manages a team of three designers, focusing on user-centered solutions for web and mobile applications. Prior experience includes roles at CONFLUX, where Ian improved customer satisfaction metrics and website functionality, and PickMealUp, where collaboration and user research informed design decisions. Ian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from the Academy of Graphic Technology and a Bachelor of Visual Design Technology from Multimedia University of Kenya.
