Katie Elder, DVM, MPH, currently serves as a Veterinarian at Meadow View Veterinary Clinic since June 2023 and is a Data Analytics Student at Springboard since October 2022. Previously, Katie worked as a Proofreader for Vets Stay Go Diversify! from December 2022 to July 2023, focusing on website testing, editing, and branding concepts. Katie possesses extensive experience from the USDA-FSIS as a Supervisory Public Health Veterinarian, spending three years as an in-plant Veterinarian and one year as an Enforcement Investigative Analysis Officer. Additionally, Katie interned at the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services and gained clinical experience as a Banfield Student Extern. Educationally, Katie holds a Master of Science in Technical and Scientific Communication from the University of Minnesota and both a Master of Public Health and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri-Columbia, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Biology from LaGrange College.
