Lucas Allen

Lucas Allen is a seasoned data science professional currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist and Manager at Red Ventures since October 2017, where responsibilities include developing end-to-end data science solutions for the Central Data and Technology Group. Prior roles at Red Ventures involved leading a new data science team for the rebranded venture Red Ventures Education and addressing various problems in the telecom sector. Additionally, Lucas serves as a Data Science Mentor for Springboard, guiding students through an online bootcamp and was recognized as a Fall 2020 Inspire Mentor. Prior experience includes a Data Scientist position at State Farm, focusing on machine learning models to enhance efficiencies and automating business processes, as well as a notable teaching career in mathematics at Morton High School and Danville High School. Lucas holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Master's in Education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
