Rupesh Basnet

Rupesh Basnet is a dedicated professional with a diverse background in education, software engineering, and cybersecurity. Currently serving as a Cyber Security Trainee at Springboard since November 2021, Rupesh specializes in systems security, network security, and risk assessments, alongside successfully installing security applications. Previously, an accomplished Software Engineer with over 700 hours of hands-on training and the completion of significant portfolio projects, Rupesh has honed skills in both front-end and back-end web development. Prior experience includes roles as a Front Desk Attendant at Rodeway Inn, where an interest in the hospitality industry was cultivated, and teaching positions at KMC School and The Rising Star School, focusing on accountancy and mathematics, respectively. Rupesh is pursuing an MBA in Management Information Systems at Lincoln University, with plans to obtain a Cyber Security Certificate by January 2025.
