Scott Carey

Scott Carey is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in both education and software engineering. Currently serving as a Software Engineer Fellow at Springboard since September 2022, Scott has completed over 700 hours of hands-on training, benefitting from one-on-one mentorship and successfully finishing four comprehensive portfolio projects, mastering skills in both front-end and back-end web development, databases, and data structures. In addition, Scott has been a Math Teacher at Saint Anthony's High School since September 2017, where lesson design and implementation are tailored to accommodate diverse student needs. Scott holds a Master of Education in Teaching of Individuals in Secondary Special Education Programs from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Education in Mathematics Teacher Education from the State University of New York at Old Westbury.
